About the Conference

Who Can Submit?

The EGSA Conference is driven towards graduate students, both in operating the conference and for submissions. We encourage any current graduate student - whether at UTA or another university - to apply so long as their paper adhere’s to the conference theme dealing with film and media. One does not need to be a UTA student or and English student to apply.

The organization itself began in 2013 as,
“the brainchild of some very energetic and proactive graduate students” for which some of whom are now professors in the Department of English.
